How do I get access to the reviews or salaries?

Glassdoor is completely free — there are no subscription or report fees. Instead we use a simple "give-to-get" model.

1. Give us your review or salary for a current or former employer.
2. Get access to all our reviews or salaries.

That seems fair, right? If you're interested in seeing reviews, give us a review of your own and you'll get access to all the reviews posted by our employee community for a full year — all for free! What if I work for a small company or I'm the only one with my job title?

We're all about anonymity. So if anonymity is a concern, you can post without giving us the information that may allow others to identify you. For example, when posting a review we don't require you to specify your job title or location. And for salaries, although we need your job title and location to ensure we have accurate salary information, we don't require you to specify your employer. That should allow you to maintain your anonymity and still take part in our "give-to-get" model.

How do you know the posts are really from employees?

Because all our reviews and salaries are anonymous, we require our users to verify their account via email before their posts are available to other users. This verification allows us to put measures in place to help identify suspicious users or posts (even if those cases are the exception rather than the rule). These measures, combined with an active employee community and our commitment to review every post before it appears on the site, allow us to have confidence that our information is really from the employees. You'll see for yourself, read a few reviews and you'll see that those insights can only come from people on the inside.

Why don't you have more for my employer or industry?

We're just getting started, and with each new employee that gives us their inside look at their employer, we have that much more to offer those that follow. So if you don't see enough reviews or salaries for your employer, help us get it going! It only takes one post to turn on another employer, and you'll see how quickly our "give-to-get" model and word of mouth can take over from there.
